Durability in an alkaline environment of fiber reinforcements for structural consolidation

Within the article, the results of an experimental campaign conducted on dry reinforcement fibers (without matrix) are presented. These fibers were subjected to different periods, temperatures, and alkaline environments in order to evaluate the mechanical effects of different test protocols and, above all, the sensitivity levels exhibited by the specimens, which constitute potential reinforcements for composites used in civil structural consolidation
