RI-STRUTTURA is the structural reinforcement system developed according to the CRM – Composite Reinforced Mortar technique.
This structural reinforcement system uses pre-formed GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) meshes, connectors and corner elements that are CE marked and have the Equivalence Accreditation No. 9946.17-12-2020, in accordance with the requirements set out in Chapter 11.1 of NTC 2018.
It involves the use of meshes, corner elements and connectors made of preformed composite material with AR glass fibre and thermosetting resins. It is completed with NHL lime- or cement-based plaster mortars.
The CRM reinforced plaster technique is the ideal solution for:

Solution
RI-STRUTTURA represents an easy-to-use solution, especially on historic masonry buildings where an effective consolidation and structural improvement work needs to be carried out in a non-invasive and compatible manner, often under complex operational and logistical conditions.
The lightweight of the materials and the mesh availability in rolls of up to 100 m2 makes handling easy and laying quick, with the mortar being applied manually or automatically in a single layer and without the need to work ‘fresh on fresh’. The result is a reduction in installation time and costs and better site organisation.
RI-STRUTTURA provides a homogenous and widespread structural improvement by increasing the shear and flexural strength of the masonry with a modest increment in structure stiffness.
It guarantees a high durability of work due to the absence of corrosion even in highly aggressive environments, allowing the reversibility of the entire system application where necessary.
In the case of vault reinforcement, the application can be carried out on the intrados, extrados or both sides with or without connections, depending on the specific needs.
The use of thin lime-based renders allows for a minimally invasive, compatible and highly effective application.
RI-STRUTTURA ensures a better distribution of loads and a more effective distribution of horizontal seismic forces on existing floor and roof slabs.
The mesh can be connected to the underlying slab through metal connectors to create a collaborating slab with high mechanical properties.
It is also possible to create customised elements for the confinement and consolidation of beams and columns according to the specific needs of the construction.
The RI-STRUTTURA system for the consolidation of historic floors allows the creation of a lime or cement screed reinforced with preformed composite mesh. This creates a stable base with good mechanical performance for the subsequent laying of the floor.
The use of RI-STRUTTURA ensures a better distribution of loads, avoids the formation of ruts and localised subsidence, and allows easy search and monitoring of primary services thanks to the system’s inherent radio-transparent properties.
RI-STRUTTURA system for securing single- or double-wall infill elements within framed structures against out-of-plane overturning and detachment. The system includes the dry application of a monolithic mesh made of preformed composite material consisting of glass fibre and thermosetting resin.
Includes connections with stainless steel screws and wall fixings for anchoring to the concrete frame and to the same infill wall.
